Psychiatrist and a research fellow at the Department of Affective Disorders, Chair of Psychiatry, Jagiellonian University Medical College (Cracow). Since 2009 he has been working at the Adult Psychiatry Clinic, University Hospital. His major areas of interest involve perinatal mood disorders (notably, postpartum depression), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in adults (‘Adult ADHD’), and sleep disorders. In his clinical activities he follows the paradigm of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM).
In 2014 he has been granted by the Jagiellonian University Medical College with the Ph.D. degree in medicine. Since 2011 he has been carrying out classes in psychiatry for the students of the Faculty of Medicine at the Jagiellonian University Medical College and the Jagiellonian University’s School of Medicine in English.
Dr. Jaeschke also serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Medycyna Praktyczna – Psychiatria (Practical Medicine – Psychiatry) and Editorial Board member and reviewer of the Psychiatria Polska journal. He is a member of the scientific societies: the Polish Psychiatric Society (PTP), and the European Network Adult ADHD (ENAA).
