Psychologist, graduate of the Jagiellonian University, psychotherapist in training, organized by the J. Babinski Hospital in Krakow, attested by the Polish Psychiatric Association. She is also a psychoanalyst in training at the Krakow Circle of Psychoanalysis NLS, of which she has been a member since 2017. She gained her professional experience during internships at the J. Babinski Hospital, in general psychiatric and rehabilitation departments. She also expanded her experience at the Krakow Psychotherapy Institute,by training in individual, family and group therapy, as well as working in the Department of Treatment and Care with elderly and somatically ill patients.
She gained experience in individual psychotherapy with young people and adults working in the Psychotherapy Center for Children and Youth and in the Family Counseling and Therapy Center run by the Dobrej Nadziei Association. She runs psychotherapy in the psychodynamic / psychoanalytic approach and lacanian psychoanalysis. She also uses systematic thinking about the family context.
Monika Gzyl runs psychotherapy with both adults and teenagers. She also undergoes regular supervision.
