She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Jagiellonian University (UJ) Medical College. Currently undergoing specialty training in psychiatry, since 2003 she has been employed in the J. Babiński Specialist Hospital in Kraków as an assistant in the Psychogeriatrics Ward. She has several years of outpatient care experience, which she has gained in the Mental Health Clinic and Community Psychiatric Care, as well as working with addicts.
She completed first level training at the Kraków School of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. She carried out training for general practitioners in the field of addiction psychopathology.
Her major current clinical interests cover issues in psychogeriatrics, particularly mental care of elderly patients in their environment (home visits).
She is a keen traveller and an avid reader.
